As I age, I continue to lose more and more people who meant so much to me growing up. It seems that 2014 was especially tough in that respect. I lost my mother in July and though she had been in declining health for some time, it’s still hard to accept that she is no longer with us. I’m comforted by the fact that she no longer suffers and that she is in a better place.
