From 6/2/2003 note from Monya Havekost - "I think the father of Samuel Clark, James and Clement WEBSTER is probably William WEBSTER.  I need to check, but I think it's the 1830 census for Marion Co. that shows a male over 100 years of age living in the home of Samuel.  Brother James WEBSTER was born in 1796 in NC (where, I don't know) but Samuel and Clement were born in TN.  My first-cousin-once-removed (90 in Oct.), who has passed down all the letters, etc. to me grew up hearing that Samuel, James, and Clement came to Alabama together.  Two of their sisters married the same BERRYHILL and also moved from TN to Marion Co. AL in an area later enumerated in Fayette Co.  I think the WEBSTERs were in Hawkins Co. TN before moving to Alabama."
