Name John Vandruff Born 7 Apr 1820 Gender Male Obituary - John Vandruff, Esq., one of the old and respected citizens of Perry township, died at his home on Sabbath morning last, May 12. He was 75 years of age on the 7th day of April, last. He was a son of the late James and Nancy Hickman Vandruff. His health had been poor for some time, and death was the result of general debility. Mr. Vandruff was a man known for his uprightness of Character and possessed principles of strictest honor and integrity. He leaves a family of ten children to survive him, the mother being dead. The children are: Winfield S., Mrs. Eli (Nancy) Fox, William L., Mrs. James E. (Mary E.) Moore, Mrs. Thomas (Eliza) Phillips, all of whom are married, and Lydia A., Leroy Grant, Emma, Catharine and Frank, who remain at home.
