  1  NOTE From the book, History of Brown Co. OH.  Huntinton Towship John Gray and his wife, Mary (Stewart) Gray, moved from Nicholas CO., KY., to Huntington Township about the year 1799. They were the parents of a large family of children. They were both quite old when they were called from earth. Joseph Gray, their son, is now the owner of the real estate on which his father settled on locating in Ohio. Joseph Gray was born near where he now resides, on the Aberdeen and Zanesville pike in 1799. In 1817,he was married to Jane Kigore, of Nicholas Co., KY, who died afew years ago. Mr. Gray is now the oldest person living in the township who was aborn within it.
