  Obituary	Ila L. Ferguson, 80, of 614 Norton Dr., Athens, AL, died February 21, 1988, at Limestone Health Facility, Athens, AL. Funeral services were held February 23, at 10:30 a.m. at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Cox and Rev. Spurgeon Hendricks officiating. Music was provided by Jeff Suggs and Peggy Holt. Burial was in the Gatlin Cemetery with Taylor Funeral Home in charge. A native of Tennessee, Mrs. Ferguson was the daughter of the late Daniel Hopwood and Sallie George Hopwood. She was a lifelong resident of the Cash Point community before moving to Athens a short time ago. Mrs. Ferguson was a housewife and a member of the Cash Point Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Marvene Ferguson of Athens; three daughters, Nelma Dean Johnson of Fayetteville, TN, Robbie Jean Bauer of Athens, AL, and Peggy Ann Melton of Clanton, AL; three sisters, Carrie Smith of Ardmore, Eula Whitt and Katie Pendegraft, both of Huntsville, AL; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
