  Obituary	Born to Ernest and Maude Lucas, who preceded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Kathelene, with whom he had 50 wonderful years; 2 sons; 7 grandchildren; a brother; 2 sisters; and numerous nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends who were as dear as family. Hack was in the US Army from 1940 to 1945, including two years of active combat duty during WWII as part of the 45th Infantry Division, 179th Regimental Combat Team. he received several decorations including the Bronze and Silver Service Stars and 2 Purple Hearts. Hack met Kathelene soon after he returned from Europe. They were married Sept 27, 1945, at Downtown Baptist Church, OKC. They made their home in OKC when Hack began his 24 year career as a fireman at Tinker AFB. In 1960, they moved to Washington, OK. He retired from Tinker in 1968, but continued to work at various jobs for several years. Hack also served as Mayor of Washington for 8 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Washington, and enjoyed fishing with friends and family. In later years, Hack became a true fan of horse racing. He was a simple and fair man who was loved by many.
