  	Earl W. Eaton, age 48, died Wednesday afternoon, May 17, at 8:15 p.m. at his home on Southwest Street, Birmingham, following a long illness. Funeral services were conducted Friday morning at 9:30 a.m. by Rev. Clyde Beale at the South Park Baptist Church, Birmingham. After the services the body was shipped to Athens and arrived at 3:45 p.m. Prayer services were conducted at the Athens City Cemetery Friday afternoon at 4:30 p.m. by Rev. Clyde Beale, assisted by Rev. Joe Anglin. Interment was made in the Athens City Cemetery, Spry directing. He is survived by his wife, one son, three daughters, three brothers, two sisters, and four grandchildren. He was a member of the South Park Baptist Church in Birmingham for a number of years.
