Burial will follow in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens with Norwood Funeral Homes, Inc. of Guin directing. He was preceded in death by his first wife Mary E. Hollis White; son, William Edward 'Eddie' White; parents Murray Valcus and Lily Goolsby White; brother Murray Valcus White Jr. and a niece, Kay White. He was a member of the Guin First United Methodist Church, a Mason and a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He owned and operated Dr. John W. White's Dentistry in Guin for 30 years.
