  	Mrs. Leona W. Choran, 86. of Route 2, Ardmore, AL, died October 30, 1987, at Parkway Medical Center in Decatur, AL. Funeral services were held October 31 at 2 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Hudson officiating. Burial was in the Gatlin Cemetery with Taylor Funeral Home in charge. A native and lifelong resident of Limestone county, AL, Mrs. Choran was the daughter of the late Madison and Elizabeth Smith Woodfin. She was the wife of the late James Leonard Choran. Mrs. Choran was a member of the Wooley Springs Church of Christ. Survivors include one daughter, Dorothy Ratley of Ardmore; three granddaughters, Sylvia Sanders, Lynda Gatlin and Kathy Craft; two grandsons, Johnny and Roger Ratley; four sisters, Mrs. Gilliam of Nashville, Mrs. Lillie Muse of Florida, Mrs. Josephine Hardiman of Ohio, and Mrs. Helen Sammett of Athens; two brothers, Thomas Woodfin of Pulaski and Madison Woodfin, Jr. of Athens; one step-brother, Gordon Miller of Athens; 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Pallbearers were great grandsons, David and Anthony Gatlin, Corey, Chad and Shane Ratley, and Brent Sanderson. Honorary pallbearers were Johnny and Roger Ratley, grandsons.
