  	Athens - Funeral for Johnie Henry Whitt Sr., 87, of Athens will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Dwight Raburn and the Rev. Michael Whitt officiating. Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Whitt died Tuesday, June 18, 2002, at the Athens Convalescent Center. He was born July 1, 1914, in Limestone County. He was a member and associate pastor of the New Oakland Baptist Church. He was the widower of Nameless Butler Whitt; and two grandchildren, Laura Beth Haynes and Debra Whitt. Survivors include two sons, Johnie Henry Whitt Jr. of Leesburg, Florida and J. D. Whitt of Trinity, Alabama; three daughters, Betty Johnson of Haggerman, Idaho, and Judy Carter and Cathy Haynes, both of Athens, Alabama; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Grandsons will be pallbearers.
