  Obituary	Martha Alice Carlile Lynch, 89, of Cedar Park died April 2, 2013. Mrs. Lynch was born Sept. 30, 1923, at Nix. A former Irving resident, she lived in Cedar Park for the past four years. Mrs. Lynch was a homemaker. She was married to Roy Lynch. Survivors include a daughter, Jean Harvey of Cedar Park; a son, Jerry Lynch of Grand Prairie; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Beck Funeral Home had charge of arrangements.

  From Jean Harvey: Martha Alice was born on the Old Carlile Place in Nix, TX. In 1930 the family lived on the McCauley...sp...Bland lost everything in the Depression and the family moved back to the Carlile homestead. Uncle Cecil sold his ranch/farm and bought a grocery store in Lometa, TX. Edwin Carlile died at the McCauley place and is buried at Medlin-Sweatout, near the Porter/Carlile homestead in Nix, TX.
