  	JAY G. SEALS died peacefully on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 with his family and brother surrounding him, in South Lake Tahoe, CA. He battled CLL for 10 years and succumbed to AML at his time of death. In honor of Jay's wishes he was cremated. Jay was born in Chillicothe, MO on March 2, 1950 to John W. Seals and the late Rosemary Seals, of Belton, MO. He attended school in Belton, MO where he met his future wife Stephanie in the sixth grade. They both graduated from Belton High School in 1968. He began his career in the sports flooring business at the age of 18. Jay retired from Robbins Sports Flooring of Cincinnati, OH in 2002, as Executive Vice President. In 2006 Jay was inducted into the prestigious Maple Flooring Manufacturing Association's Hall of Fame for his unwavering commitment to drive positive change and professionalism within the sports surfacing industry. After moving to South Lake Tahoe Jay and Stephanie purchased Alpina Coffee Café in 2004. He had a lifelong passion for music and collecting guitars. Jay leaves behind Stephanie, his wife of 35 years; son Jay Seals, his wife Shara; son Stephen Seals, daughter; Anna Seals; brother John P. Seals, his wife Kathy; niece Traci Singher; niece Monica Van Zee; and nephew Chris Seals. Jay is preceded in death by his mother Rosemary Seals and sister Mary Singher.
