The Greenville News - Louise Myrtle Nix Collins, 73, formerly of 126 Jameson Road, wife of the late George Washington Collins, died Sunday, July 10, 2005, at Easley Nursing Center.
Born in Pickens County, the daughter of the late Jerry and Myrtle Dacus Nix, Mrs. Collins was a homemaker and attended Cross Roads Baptist Church.
Surviving are three sons, Rickie George Collins of Sunset and Billy Lee Collins and his wife, Eileen, and Danny Lee Collins, all of Easley; two daughters, Audrey Louise Terryn and her husband, Marc, of Piedmont and Bonnie Lou Massey of Travelers Rest; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Collins was predeceased by a grandson.
Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley. Burial of the urn will follow at Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday from 1 to 2 p.m. at the funeral home, before the service.
Family members are at their respective homes.
