Limestone Democrat - Mrs. Etta Pearl Brooks, 65, 1913 Locust St., Decatur, died at 7 p.m. Sunday at the Baugh-Wiley-Smith Clinic.
Funeral services were Tuesday afternoon at the Spry Funeral Home Chapel, Burl Grubb was the officiating minister; burial was in the O'Neal Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. J. T. Coulter, Decatur; three sons, Hagan Brooks, Athens, Rt. 8; Leslie Brooks, Decatur and Walter D. Brooks Jr., Athens; two sisters, Mrs. Cora Sewell, Mrs. Mag Hannon, both from Dallas, Texas; 19 grandsons and 28 great-grandsons.
Grandsons served as pallbearers.
