  	Janara Stanford, 82, Detroit, died on Monday, December 25, 2000, at the Daniel Health Care Complex in Fulton, Mississippi. She was born on February 16, 1918 in Lamar County, AL., the daughter of John Walford Younghance and Mary Etta Black Younghance. She was a factory worker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Odis Stanford, her parents, two sisters, Welthy Newell and Euie Stark, two brothers Dutch Otts and Murphy Younghance. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, December 27, 2000, at 2 p.m. from the Detroit Church of God with burial in the Kingsville Cemetery in Detroit. Bro. John Elliott and Eddie Williamson were the officiating ministers. Survivors include two daughters - Margaret (Jim) Davis, Sulligent, and Bettie (Dale) Wilson, Smithville, MS., two sons - Johnny (Wanda) Stanford and Ricky Stanford all of Detroit; four granddaughters - Pebble (Greg) Pinkerton, Ginger (Tony) Tooke, Natasha (Tony) Saine, and Emily Wilson; four great-grandchildren - Erika Pinkerton, Gordyn Pinkerton, Chelsie Tooke, and Corey Tooke; two sisters - Zena Miller, La Porte, TX., and Mae Scott, Sevierville, TN.; and one brother - Graves Younghance, Sevierville, TN. Hamilton Funeral Home directed the services.
