  • Notes
    • A 16 year old son of Tom Vinson, who lives about six miles west of town, happened to a very serious accident yesterday morning.  He heard his dogs running a rabbit and took his gun and started out to where the dogs were. In getting over a fence he managed in some way to discharge his gun, nearly the entire load going through one of his wrists. Dr. Love of McLemoresville, was called to see him and he sent to town for Dr. Cox, who left immediately for the scene of the accident. It wasthought that the arm would have to be amputated but we go to press before learning the result of the consultation. (It was amputated)
