Notes - was born in Elbert co., GA and died on the "Old Home Place" in Harris co. There is an interesting story in the "David Journal" regarding a search by David Fraser to find the few remaining signs of the "old home place. Jacob's wife, Margaret "Peggy" Allmon, was also born in Elbert co., in 1792, and died 31 January 1857 Harris CO. She was a daughter of Isaac Almond (Isaac a brother of Thomas who married 38. Nancy David). They married 2 January 1817.
