Name Lucille Webster Born 25 Aug 1926 Gender Female Obituary - Mrs. Lucille Webster Ballard, age 80 of Winfield, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2007 in the Carraway Methodist Medical Center at B'ham. Mrs. Ballard was born on August 25, 1926 in Fayette Co. a daughter of Thomas Andrew and Chessie Atkinson Webster; resident of Bobo Community most of her life; currently a resident of Winfield; graduate of Hubbertville High School and Florence Teacher's College; retired from Reltoc Mfg; widow of Daniel Ballard; member of White Springs United Methodist Church; and her hobby was antiques.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, J.E., Fred, Ed and Claude Webster; and a grandson, Jonathon Wade Ballard.
Survivors include two sons, Phillip (Margie) Ballard and Warren Ballard; one daughter, Danna Ballard (Phillip) Howell, all of Winfield; ten grandchildren, Roxanne (Mark) Cochran, Melissa
(Boyd) Pate, Mechelle Henderson, Chris (Kelley) Ballard, Brandy
(Brian) Hydrick, Brent Ballard, David Howell, Adam Howell, Jamie
(Mandi) Ballard and Jenifer (Drew) Elmore; 18 great-grandchildren; host of nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral Services were held Sunday, February 11, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the McGraw Memorial Chapel of Miles Funeral Home. Dwight Geist and Phillip Harkness were the officiating ministers. Burial followed in the White Springs Cemetery.
