Know all men by these presents that we the undersigned heirs at law of the estate of John Hankins, deceased for and in consideration of the sum of $100 to us in hand paid (in a division of lands belonging to said estate) by Robert P. Hankins the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged We do grant bargain sell and quit claim and convey to said R. P. Hankins all the right title interest or claim that we may or now have either in law of equity of in and to the following described tract of land to wit: SW 1/4 of NW 1/4 of Section 25, Township 14, Range 15 to have and to hold to the said R. P. Hankins this heirs and assigns forever and this is a conveyance made with the following undersatnding that it is to be his full share of the real estate that belonged to said John M. Hankins at his death excepting his interest in 40 acres of land that was set off as a home for Martha Hankins during her natural life which 40 acres said R. P. Hankins has retained the right which he is entitled to as an heir of said estate. In witness whereof we hereunto set our hands and affix our seals this 4th day of September A. D. 1876.
