  	Mrs. C. F. (Frances) Powelson Mrs Frances Lillian Powelson, of 443 Walnut died at 7:30 o'clock yesterday evening at Hedrick Medical Center. She was 80 and had resided in Chillicothe since 1942. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel of the Norman Funeral Home, Dr Earl Griffith officiating The casket will be closed at 1:55 pm Burial will be at Edgewood cemetery. Mrs Powelson was born Dec. 18, 1896, at Tiskilwa, 111., daughter of George W. and Lena R. Maple Draper. She attended school in Illinois and was married in 1917 in Chillicothe to Charles R. (Pat) Powelson. He died on Jan. 8,1947. Survivors include three daughters, Miss Louise Powelson and Mrs. Edwin (Margaret) Head, both of Chillicothe, and Mrs. John (Rosemary) Seals, Belton; a son, Donald Powelson, Nashville, Tenn ; a son-in-law, Thomas J. Thomas, Dawn; a sister, Mrs. Mary Mann, St. Helena, Calif.; 11 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Thomas; a brother, and a grandchild. Mrs Powelson was a member of the United Methodist Church and the Mary Martha Sunday school class. The family has suggested that memorial contributions, in lieu of flowers, may be made to the Heart Fund.
