Funeral services were held Saturday, August 21, 1993 at 2:30 p.m. at Taylor Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dalton Warden officiating. Burial followed in Gatlin Cemetery with Taylor Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Higginbotham was a deacon of Macedonia Baptist Church and one of the church's original founders.
Survivors include one son, Charles Higginbotham of Ardmore, TN; one daughter, Ann Whitt of Huntsville, AL; one sister, Tinnie Hardiman Smith of Ardmore; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. [Your Community Shopper, Wednesday, August 15 1993, page B10]
