Virginia was born December 5, 1926 in Madison County, AL, to George Dewey Coulter and Sarah Ghidotti Coulter. She lived all her life in this area and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Paul Lee Butler. Survivors include daughter, Nancy and husband Roger Swinford of Ardmore, AL; brothers, Leo Coulter of Prospect, TN, G.D. Coulter of Ardmore, AL; sisters, Imojean Delfunt of Georgia, Dora Dean Watson of Ardmore, TN, and Ann Mitchell of Decatur, AL; three grandchildren, MaDonna and husband Chuck Eldridge, Andy and Jeanie Swinford and Timmy and Jill Swinford; six great-grandchildren, Slade Logan, McKenzie and Hayden Swinford, Morgan and Hannah Eldridge. Pallbearers were Doug Tucker, Mickie Ezell, Daryl Clutts, Willie Smith, Joe Dixon and Tommy Mitchell. Honorary pallbearer was Ollie Roland.
