Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 24, at 2 p.m. at Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Billy Joe Sharp officiating. Burial will be in the Gatlin Cemetery in Ardmore with Ardmore Memorial Funeral Home in charge. Eula Mae was born March 27, 1929 in Pettusville, AL, to Joe Wheeler Gates and Susie Pearl Watkins Gates. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by husbands, Harold Brown Culps and Woodrow Cole McConnell. Survivors include two daughters, Kathie (Jackie) Bonee of Lawrenceburg, TN, and Mary Jo (Steve) Powers of Toney, AL; five grandchildren, Scott Lovett, Bobbie Lynn Garland, Nichole Smith, Stefanie Reyer and Jessica Garland; and 13 great-grandchildren.
