  	Funeral services for August Ruf, 85, were Monday at 3 p.m. at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Jack Woods and Rev. Monroe Lewis officiated with burial in Germantown Cemetery. Mr. Ruf died Saturday at the Athens Nursing Home. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Liddy Ruf of Athens; one son, David Ruf of Athens Rt. 4; four brothers, Paul Ruf of Monette, Mo., Richard Ruf and Willie Ruf of Athens Rt. 1, and Carl Ruf, Elkmont. Nephews served as pallbearers.
