• Notes

  Obituary from the Fayetteville Observer:  "Mrs. Pauline Blythe Eden, age 88 years and four months, died of acute bronchitis at the home of her daughter, Mrs. H. R. Melson, east of Fayetteville on Thursday, December 30, 1915.  She was a truly good woman and during her long life had bound everyone to her by the tender ties of love so that her going away is sadly regretted by every acquaintance.  The funeral service was conducted by Rev. Lew Massey.  The remains were taken to Lynchburg, her former home, for burial."
