Will of William Clement Jr, extracted by B. DeRoy Beale from Will Book
2X, page 150, in the Amelia Co., VA Courthouse:
WB 2X-150, wd 17 Jun 1764, wp 26 Jun 1766, will of William Clement.
To son Isham Clements - the land I formerly lived on containing 275 ac.,
and my part of the mill with 10 ac. joining the mill house, and I desire
that Isham keep my whole estate together and not divide until Tabb's
debt be paid be paid by the mill.

Son William Clements - negroes James & Hannah, and the land I had of
George Evens containing 150 ac.

Notes:
In Deed Book 3-85, 7 Jun 1748, William Clement Jr's wife Mary signed
the deed with him, she being his first wife who died in or before 1758.
On 23 Nov 1758, William Clement Jr married Ann Walker.
In Deed Book 9-57, 25 Jul 1766: I, Ann Clement, do renounce all right or
benefit that I might clain by my late husband's will.
B. DeRoy Beale's interpretation:
William Clement's first wife was named Mary, who was the mother of
children Isham, Mary, Martha, William and Rebeckah. Son Isham was named
as executor for these children.
William Clement's second wife was Ann Walker, who was the mother of
children Edmund Walker Clements, John Clements and Ann Clements. Wife
Ann was named as executrix for these children.
