  	Janice Jacquline Mitchell White NORTHPORT Janice Jacquline Mitchell White, age 83, of Northport, passed away Jan. 11, 2015, at Hospice of West Alabama. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, 2015, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Joseph Robinson officiating and Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Mrs. White was preceded in death by her husband, Conley Glen White; son, Gregory Phillip White; parents, Vader and Linnie Mitchell; brothers, Harvey Mitchell and Ronnie Mitchell; and sister, Sandra Mitchell. She is survived by daughter, Susie Culp; son, Mike White (Linda); daughter-in-law, Karen Butcher White; sisters, Polly Phares (Glenn) and Barbara Strickland; brother, Stephen Mitchell (Lou Ann); sister-in-law, Linda Stoker (Sherman); grandchildren, Amy Materson, Jennifer Colbaugh, Courtney White (Lori), Mindy McCracken (Marc); great-grandchildren, Chelsea Materson, Abby Colbaugh, Connor White, Liz Morgan White, Meredith White, Ann-Michael McCracken, and Cohen McCracken; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. White was born in Fayette. She was an accountant and retired from the University of Alabama. She will be remembered as a sweet soul with a kind spirit who cherished her family, especially the "little ones". She and her husband Glen were married 55 years at the time of his death. Her favorite season of the year was spring, because of her love for flowers and birds. She enjoyed traveling and was an excellent cook. Pallbearers will be Mike Bobo, John Knox, Mac Mitchell, Allan Mitchell, Courtney White, Marc McCracken, Tommy Seale, Mitch Strickland. Honorary pallbearers will be Mike Anderson, Wayne Champion, Mary and David Blaich, Debbie Warren, Vicky White and Shannon De'Loach. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
