Notes - Daniel White's will (recoded in Culpeper County, Virginia, Will Book "C," page 40), made November 23, 1788, and probated December 20, 1790, mentions sons, Henry White, John White; grand-
daughter, Polly White, daughter of John White; daughter, Tabitha Rogers; grandchildren, Reuben Harrison, John Harrison, Richard Harrison, James Harrison, Elizabeth Tinsley, Frances Lee, wife of
Richard Lee, children of daughter, Frances. To his son, Henry, he leaves five negroes, Phyllis, Moll, Jack, Dick and Charles, but no land.
In Orange County, Daniel White's name appears in the list of tithables, in 1739, and in the records of the same county we find in Deed Book NO. 15: "Henry White, James Madison, George Taylor and John Carter, Gent., 37 lbs.--154 acres, lot No. 9, August 24, 1769."
