  	Funeral services were held today at one o'clock for Henry Ruf, 55, who died suddenly Tuesday at his home one mile East of Thach, following a heart attack, suffered while he was rendering lard. Mr. Ruf operated a store for 23 years at Thach with his brother and retired about four years ago to look after his farm. Services were held at his late home with Bro. M. A. Creel officiating. Burial followed in German Cemetery. He is survived by his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Calvin Clark; 7 brothers, Ernest, Paul, August, Herman, Richard, Carl and Willie. He was preceded in death by his parents, Eberhard and Rosine Ruf and one sister, Ida Sophia Ruf Wessler. His parents were born in Germany.
