  Obituary	Mrs. Orean Porter, 95, of Lampasas died April 28, 2011, at her home. Funeral services were May 2 at First Baptist Church in Lampasas, with Dr. Rick Willis officiating. Burial followed at Smith Cemetery in Kempner. She was born Nov. 29, 1915, in Milam County near Cameron to King Lemuel Lindsey and Pearl Walker Lindsey. She married Henry Marlin Porter on June 22, 1935, in Lampasas. Mrs. Porter was a housewife and a member of First Baptist Church. Surviving family members include a daughter, Patricia Arleta Green of Lampasas; three sons, Maylon Porter and wife Judy of Lometa, Melvin Porter and wife Kathy of Kingsland, and James E. Porter of San Angelo; three sisters, Lue Pruett of Durant, Okla., Beatrice Templeton of Austin and Wanda Payne of Lampasas; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and four greatgreat grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2002, and by three brothers and one sister. Memorials may be sent to New Century Hospice in Harker Heights or the charity of one's choice.
