- They lived in Anderson SC until around 1918, at which time they moved to Greenville, SC, where Van and Ola both went to work for Judson Mill. Van was an overseer and master mechanic at the mill, and many Kay and Hopkins relatives followed himto Greenville and to Judson Mill.
